School News

School hours are from 8:30 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. Teachers are available from 8:30 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. Parents please do not bring your children to school before 8:00 a.m.  There is no supervision before this time. Breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. each morning in the school cafeteria. Students are considered tardy after 8:45 a.m. Please make every effort to have your child on time each day. Parents are required to accompany children into the building if they are tardy. Please, no check-outs after 2:30 p.m.

Our School Hours

Parents, please do not bring your children to school before 8:00 a.m. Should they arrive earlier, your children will be unsupervised. Should you need before and after school care, it is provided here at the school through Parks & Recreation.

 

Rigdon Welcomes New Assistant Principal and Academic Coach

The staff and students would like to congratulate our new Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Ursula Kegler. Mrs. Kegler, was selected to represent Rigdon for the 2009-2010 school years. Congratulations Mrs. Kegler for a job well done.

 

School Uniforms

We strongly encourage our students to wear uniforms. We hope that it will be feasible, practical and cost effective. The uniforms consist of polo shirts in the spring and summer and turtle necks during the fall and winter. Shorts are permitted during the warm months however, they must be knee length.

Monday - red polo shirt; navy bottom

Tuesday - navy polo shirt; khaki bottom

Wednesday - white polo shirt; blue bottom

Thursday - red polo shirt; khaki bottom

Friday - jeans or shorts and shirt of your choice
